After 37 years, the RT will be decommissioned later this fall. Help document Line 3's final year through a transit advocacy & photography lens.
To assist in documenting the RT, there will be four workshops that will introduce concepts related to augmented reality, GIS, and transit - plus an opportunity to apply your skills with a photo walk.
Learn about the history of the RT, its closure decision, replacement plan, and transit advocacy initiatives.
Basic introduction on how to create your own AR image using your own photo(s)
Incorporate GIS skills and learn to make your own photo web map using OpenStreetMap
Learn how to use the City of Toronto archives, specifically on how to plan and navigate a visit to review records
We'll be employing basic photography techniques on a photo walk for the RT route & surrounding neighbourhood stops
